
This little mini stocking is super easy to make, and can be made in a variety of colors. Use as ornaments for the tree, gift card holders, or string a few together for a festive bunting.

Finished size: about 4.5" x 4.5"
Materials: Medium/worsted weight yarn in 3 colors (about 20 yds Color A, 1 yd Color B, 10 yds Color C), Size I/5.50mm hook, Yarn needle
Special stitches:
sc inc: single crochet increase, meaning work 2 sc into 1 st
sc dec: single crochet decrease, meaning combine 2 sts into 1. To work a sc dec, insert hook, pull up a loop, insert hook into next st, pull up a loop, pull through all 3 loops on hook.
Stocking Side (make 2):
To begin, with Color A, ch 10.
Row 1: sc in each ch across (9sc). ch 1, turn.
Row 2: sc inc, 7 sc, sc inc in the last st (11 sc). ch 1, turn.
Row 3: sc in each st across (11 sc). ch 1, turn.
Row 4: sc in each st across (11 sc). ch 1, turn.
Row 5: sc dec over first 2 sts, sc across (10 sc). ch 1, turn.
Row 6: sc dec over first 2 sts, 5 sc across, skipping last 3 sts (6 sc). ch 1, turn.
Rows 7 - 10: sc in each st across, ch 1, turn. (6 sc). Tie off at the end of row 10.
Match up two sides, and with Color B, work a running stitch through both layers around the edge of sides, leaving the top open.
Connect Color C to any stitch on top edge of stocking side. work with right side facing.
Round 1: sc in each st around (12 sc). At end of rnd, sl st to first st in round, ch 1.
Round 2: sc inc in each st around (24 sc). At end of rnd, sl st to first st in round, ch 1.
Round 3: sc in each st around (24 sc). At end of rnd, sl st to first st in round, tie off.
